Alsea School District is looking for an Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach. If you have a passion for the sport and helping students build skills for life, this is the position for you! 

Essential Job Duties and Qualifications

The duties of the Assistant/Volunteer Coaches are to carry out the program planned by the head coach. They will be of assistance for whatever may be required, such as: scouting, coaching junior varsity, and performing delegated duties set forth by the head coach of that sport.

When the Assistant/Volunteer Coaches are given the junior varsity coaching assignment, their system of play will be designated by the Head Coach. They will have the same responsibilities as listed for the head coaches, where applicable. 

Assistant/Volunteer Coaches may have different responsibilities year to year as directed by the Head Coach and the Athletic Director.

Assistant /Volunteer Coaches will have completed the NFHS certification course per OSAA requirement. Assistant Coaches if able, will complete Type-10 certification.
